MakePilot – Production Board privacy policy

What MakePilot does
MakePilot – Production Board is a read-only production board for custom-apparel shops. See every personalized order and what needs making next. It uses Shopify's read_orders permission to show a shop's currently unfulfilled orders and their line items in an embedded admin page.
Shopify data we access
For each unfulfilled line item, the app may read the order reference, product and variant names, product image, ordered and unfulfilled quantities, and custom attributes. Custom attributes can contain merchant- or buyer-provided personalization text such as a name, number, or placement. MakePilot does not request, store, or display customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, or payment information, and it does not write Shopify data.
Data stored by the app
MakePilot stores the Shopify OAuth session needed to authenticate the shop, app-owned production statuses, and merchant-configured required-field rules. A status record is associated with the shop, Shopify order, and Shopify line item, and contains only the selected status and timestamps. A readiness rule stores only field labels, normalized accepted keys, and normalized product-title targets; it never stores attribute values. Custom attributes and other order data are displayed from Shopify and are not copied into the app database.
Retention and deletion
App-owned sessions, production-status records, and readiness rules are deleted when the app/uninstalled webhook is received and when Shopify's shop/redact webhook is received. The app acknowledges customers/data_request and customers/redact compliance webhooks without maintaining a customer dataset. Shopify controls the underlying order-data retention and access window.
Security
MakePilot uses HTTPS for network traffic and verifies Shopify webhook authenticity. Access tokens and app-owned records are kept in the production service database and are not committed to source control. Hosting-provider security controls, including storage encryption, are governed by the provider's current policies.
Your choices and support
A merchant can uninstall MakePilot at any time; the app then removes its app-owned shop data as described above.
